Evangelical Church

The church, standing on the hilltop above the village, can be seen from the entrance to Hodoš. The church has frequently changed owners in times of religious controversy. The village had a church before the current Evangelical one, but it burned down in 1826. The new church was built between 1836 and 1848 in the late Baroque style. Near the church is the cemetery, where the Evangelical pastors, writers and translators, János Kardos and Mihály Kercsmár, are buried.
