Tomorrow is World Tourism Day!
On behalf of the initiative of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, World Tourism Day has been celebrated since 1980 on September 27th.
The aim of this special day is to raise awareness about the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, and economic value.
Around this day, many colourful and interesting events are planned, like conducted city tours or exhibitions for instance. In the area of Prekmurje where members of the Hungarian minority live, many events are planned as well. Take part in one of them and let us celebrate World Tourism Day together!
