Travel Exhibition 2022

As part of the "Program for the Promotion of the Economic Basis of the Hungarian National Community", we participated for the third time at the 44th Travel Exhibition 2022 which took place at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre. 

The four-day event was held between 3rd and 6th March and at the heart of the programmes for professionals working in the sector were the secure restart of tourism in the aftermath of the pandemic, and health, as well as medical, tourism. Similar to previous years, exchanging experiences was of the utmost significance as visitors to the fair were presented with the possibility of creating travel experiences and at the same time gathering information about different holiday destinations, accommodation, gastronomic offerings, events, sights, and traditions in Hungary and abroad. Visitors could choose from a wide offer of all-day programmes: musical and dance programmes, as well as a variety of presentations.

Prekmurje presented itself, too, at the event. Our stand welcomed visitors with information concerning Prekmurian sights, its architectural heritage, as well as natural and other sights. 

The provision of this information was supported by our publications for adults, as well as the ones for children; by our map with cycle routes; and by other practical items as part of our promotional material. An unusual attraction at our display was the selfie station, a computer-controlled photo booth with a touch-screen which instantly printed photographs. Before taking a selfie, visitors could choose among many of the picture frames that depicted Prekmurje.
