Esemény Spárganap 2018 6 copyIn Dolga vas, the Asparagus Festival was held once again this year and is fast becoming a traditional event. The open kitchen, the locally grown wine, the food tasting and colourful cultural program draw many visitors from both near and far.

The main objective of this festival is to bring this not so popular plant to mainstream cooking by offering tasty dishes made with asparagus. Visitors are offered various dishes such as risotto with shrimps and asparagus, poached salmon with lemon sauce and asparagus, potato, gnocchi with asparagus and prosciutto, along with many other tasty dishes.

The open kitchen event is seasoned with an interesting cultural program and fresh asparagus produced by local growers.
