Prekmurje Region at the Place2Go Fair

Between the 20th and 22nd of March, 2026, the 13th Place2Go international tourism fair was held in Zagreb, where, this year, we participated for the 4. time. One of the region’s most significant tourism events once again welcomed visitors with diverse programmes and a rich professional offering.

The aim of the fair is to provide a comprehensive overview of various travel destinations, experiences, cultural and natural attractions, as well as gastronomic specialties — all in one place. The three-day event was enriched with music and dance performances, presentations, and showcases.

At our stand, visitors could obtain detailed information about the Prekmurje region: we presented our natural and architectural heritage, tourist destinations, attractions, and distinctive features. With the help of publications tailored to different generations, along with other promotional materials, we aimed to provide as complete a picture as possible of the region’s diverse offerings.

Our participation once again created an excellent opportunity for exchanging experiences, building connections, and presenting the values of the Prekmurje region to a wide international audience.
