The Treasures of Prekmurje at the MOS Fair

The 58th International Trade and Business Fair (MOS), held from the 16th to 20th September, once again placed special emphasis on the diverse world of tourism. At Celje Exhibition Centre, several hundred exhibitors presented their travel offers, adventure programmes and innovative tourist solutions, giving visitors the opportunity to discover some of the most exciting destinations and attractions from abroad, across Slovenia and throughout the region, all in one place.

The ´Tourism´ section featured a particularly rich range of themes, from wellness and health tourism to sustainable and ecotourism trends, as well as nature-based and active tourism. Cultural experiences, digital developments and innovations designed to enhance the modern visitor experience also played an important role.

This year, we once again presented the tourism highlights of Prekmurje, which are attracting increasing interest among both domestic and international visitors. At our stand, visitors were able to gain a comprehensive overview of family-friendly and active experiences, natural and cultural attractions, as well as the rich gastronomy of the region. A wide selection of publications and brochures for all age groups complemented the presentation.

The diversity of Prekmurje – its tranquil landscape, traditions, excellent wines, thermal spas and wealth of authentic experiences – once again demonstrated that the region rightfully holds its place among Slovenia’s most attractive tourist destinations.
