Alpe-Adria Fair 2025: Tourism, Innovation and Sustainability

This year's Alpe-Adria Fair was the 35th in a row, and took place between 29th January and 1st February, 2025, in Ljubljana. At the fair, more than three hundred tourism providers presented their offers and services. The four-day event was accompanied by a diverse programme. Among other things, the so-called Jakob Award, the International Award for Inventiveness, Quality and Excellence in Tourism, was awarded. Running alongside the Alpe-Adria Fair was the GASTexpo Fair of Tastes, a showcase of gastronomy and the hospitality industry.
The largest tourism event in Slovenia presented, among other things, tourism institutes and various other institutions that run in the ethnically mixed area. In the past, as part of the “Programme for the Promotion of the Economic Basis of the Hungarian National Community”, we have already participated at the fair on behalf of the Pomurje Hungarian Self-Governing National Community, this year was no exception. Visitors to our stand could gather a variety of information about the natural and cultural sights of Prekmurje, various destinations, accommodation, gastronomic offerings and traditional events. The participants of the fair were greeted with a wide-ranging and colourful offer of promotional materials: numerous publications for children and adults, a cycling map, leaflets and small useful items, with the help of which we wanted to introduce them to the treasures of Prekmurje.
Thanks to everyone who visited us. We hope we will meet again soon.
